You looking at me?

It's a Common Darter dragonfly. I just love the angle of it's head and it was doing a lot of jerky head movements.

We visited Brockholes today near Preston. It's a nature reserve owned and managed by The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside.

There were many species of dragonfly around but this was the only one which landed to identify.
