Messing about on the River

After a prolonged period of pants weather the sun remembered that it was just August and still a little early for it to turn down the heat and made a welcome return. We made the most of the return of summer and headed out for the day. Long walk along the river, playing on the banks of and in the river, today's Blip was a toss up between this and the one showing Ky's face when she realised water was seeping into her shoes! Crazy golf won by Josh who also managed a hole in one and home to fish and chips. A fantastic weekend now almost over and the children now preparing for school, early to bed as Ky has to be at school for 6.45am tomorrow for a trip to the Edinburgh Book Festival, alarm clocks set!
