Lavender Blue

Tried my hand with the macro on a tripod this afternoon, STILL trying to replicate a photo I'd seen of lavender. Most of my lavender flowers have already dried up, although they still attract the bees.

Am finding it easier to handle the tripod but not getting the angle I want easily enough. Must keep trying.

It was lovely outside earlier. It's clouding over now. One last cuppa on the patio before the sun goes in totally.

Threw out the vast majority of shots. This one will have to do.
