This is an elegant building with old world class
• It was named after London’s shopping street of the same name
• It opened in 1892
• It was the last of the arcades built in Victorian Sydney
• It is the only one remaining today in its original form.


An enjoyable day tinged with sadness as we spent the last day in Sydney with our family.
This evening we ate dinner at a lovely Thai restaurant, then it was time to bid farewell.
The suitcases are packed and documents ready for tomorrow.
Now, I have time to upload a blip for today, then bed as we have an early start tomorrow.
