Killington Lake

As motorway services go, this one must have one of the best views :)

A few minutes after I took this, the ominous clouds had made it to our side of the lake and the heavens opened - first torrential rain, then hail!

Whenever I stop at Killington Lake, I remember one time when my mum and I stopped there in the winter. The lake was frozen, and as we sat there having our coffee a flight of ducks, who didn't realise the lake was frozen, landed on it! Not graceful but quite entertaining (they all seemed ok, with just their dignity a bit battered!)
