The Tarmachans

Today it was off to Killin to run the scenic 10k - this is the view that greeted us as we got out of the car.
I was slightly slower than last year (about 20 secs) and my excuse is there was a head wind at one point and I haven't done much running on tarmac recently (only once of any distance in the last 6 weeks), I was still quite a bit quicker than 2 years ago.
Mr Rat got a faster time and was 3rd over 50 (they don't do over 60s) and son was in the top 20 though a few mins behind the leaders. Oh yes, a correction form Thursday's race, Mr Rat was 1st over 40.
This evening we were at a barbecue to celebrate a fellow runners wedding anniversary and were plenty hungry enough to do the food justice.
