Flight of fancy...

Those of us who made the effort to get up out of bed and head for Strathaven Park this morning were rewarded with the spectacular sight of about 15 beautiful brightly coloured balloons taking to the sky. It was a lovely morning, and conditions were perfect for flying.
There were quite a few spectators, including one family who appeared in their dressing gowns and pajamas! Well, it was well before 7 am on a Saturday morning...
The pilots are not sure if the balloons will fly again this evening - it all depends on the wind - but things are looking good for "The Glow" tonight at 9.30pm and flying conditions look very good for tomorrow...
So, if you live near Strathaven and didn't make it this morning, perhaps tomorrow morning?... 6.30 am....
