The Great War exhibition in The Guildhall museum.

This was quite a small exhibition - being only one room - which we went along to view this afternoon. It just deals with local artefacts and small accounts of the part that local people played in the war. This made it actually easier to read all of the display notes without feeling exhausted.
The mini Cenotaph and the wall with the replica trench were done by local arts college students.

We had a picnic in the castle bailey at lunch time. The only other noteworthy occurrence of the day was that we bought Alex's new school blazer and jumper in the morning, as the last ones lasted 3 years so have definitely seen better days and no longer fit! They are now labelled and stashed ready.
