Muck

(Technical problem sorted - I can start recording again!)

On the way to Muck I listened to 'The Piano Guys' "A Thousand Years".
I just love that piece of music. It makes me feel sad, happy, hopeful, inspired (to pick up my flute and start plating again), want to be alive again!

Didn't take very many photos and got a bit frustrated with my tripod. Got rained off so walked to a wee tearoom. Had our pack lunch there with pots of tea. :) On the boat ride back we saw minki whales and porpoises. One minki surfaced fairly close to the boat.

Beautiful!

I enjoyed watching the Manx shearwater tip their wing tip in the water as they enjoyed doing acrobats just above the waves. I also saw a gannett dive. Fantastic!

Back at the cabin…showered…and Colin gave us a tutorial. We all got really cold sitting there but I had remembered spotting some blankets……..so once I'd dished them out to everyone we all got quite cosy under the blankets! ;)

We all had a wee dram before dinner from Bob. A 21yr old. Mmmm, another good way to warm up!!

Dinner:Halloumi Salad; venison with cauliflower, red cabbage and roast potatoes; sherry trifle; coffee
