surreal

The Blip is the Kirkcaldy & District Pipe Band marching into the Herrnbräu beer tent, located outside Kirkcaldy Town House.

It's part of the Kirkcaldy Ingolstadt Association's beer festival.

All a bit surreal for me, as I spend a week every month in Ingolstadt but live (mostly) in Kirkcaldy.

In the beer tent they have a wee photo montage showing the history of the twinning, and by a quirk of fate, the OH features prominently in one photo. I've been edited out (good editing).

The beer is excellent - one of my favourites from Ingolstadt, although all the local breweries are good.

The festival is on tomorrow and Sunday too, so give it a try.
