Thorn, Limburg

We stopped off in this picturesque village on the way back to Brussels today. It really was very pretty as all the houses and farms are painted white and the farms intrude right into the village itself. We went to De Pannekoekenbakker for lunch which suited everybody perfectly as they have any type of topping that you can possibly imagine on your pancake. Adults went for savoury and the kids went for sweet. There was even a lego table to keep the kids entertained until the food arrived and when the food did arrive each child received some plastic coins which they could spend in the toy shop within the restaurant! It was fab so I think we will be returning as it's not too far from home!
