Menorcan street art

We waved Mrs RB off at the airport this morning, going home to help organise a sad but necessary and important occasion. Won't be quite the same without her but I was determined not to let the boys down so we headed straight to Es Castell and the museum where we discovered a bit of history, mostly military, of Menorca.

We then had a pleasant and slow wander around this small town, built during British rule, that is planned in a grid pattern. A stop at the play area in the square, a water stop on a comfy bench by the water front and a few cheap and tasty pastries for lunch on a shady park bench.

A detour via an internet cafe to print off boarding passes, taking great care not to leave a trace. A bit too late to meet a fellow blipper based in Mahon but we will time before we go.

Then off on the glass bottomed boat trip which I have taken on almost every visit to Menorca. Today, I really enjoyed it, mostly because the boys were enjoying it. They loved what they called the glass butt bit and there was a massive cruise ship leaving port which added interest.

Back to the ranch to have a bit of a sweep, tidy up and airing (lots of shutters to negotiate).

Now off for a late afternoon swim.

Two, make it three, tired boys.
