Cape May

Right after breakfast today, our two friends Karen and Rich and myself and Bob piled into the car and we drove one hour south to the very tip of New Jersey, Cape May.
This is where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. Cape May is one of the country's oldest vacation resort destinations.
I used to come here more often years ago but it has been quite some time since my last visit.
It's considered a National Historic Landmark because of its concentration of Victorian buildings. It seemed only fitting that I blip one of those buildings. Cape May is also a top bird watching destination.
We walked through the center of town, did some shopping, had a great lunch at an Irish Pub and then drove to the lighthouse and Sunset Beach. It was a nice day and afterwards we drove back to Atlantic City where we have another evening to look forward to.
