Thistle.

Another day trying to select kitchen decor: colours, materials and that sort of thing. Not a good day, we seem to have gone a couple of steps backwards.

I would have preferred a blip of a true, patriotic Scottish thistle but this is the one that I found. I'm not too happy about the composition at the base of the picture, but that would have needed a return visit with secateurs, a tripod and a little more time.
