Salford Quays ,Manchester.

We were offered two free tickets to watch the recording of Countdown at media center Manchester,so went up and spent two nights at the holiday inn express,Salford Quays.
Salford Quays is the old docks area of Manchester,which has been redeveloped in to an arts complex ,where a lot of BBC and ITV television is recorded, and also houses the Lowry center and the Imperial War museum north.
