Blue Herons

Well I was just putting up a blip of lemons panadol etc which signified how I have felt today,really ill with the flu when my neighbour called o say there were not one but two herons in the paddock. Flu or no flu off I went it took a bit of patience to wait til they got close enough together to get them in one frame.
I am amazed that they are not quite as blue as I thought they would be. Can someone tell me whether they are a different species.
Hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow and wont have to resort to blipping lemons and panadol
