London Day 2
Today we took the DLR to Bank for our first stop, the Bank of England Museum. Orla's favourite bit was making jigsaws out of the various notes. We walked from there to St Paul's for lunch at the Bread St Kitchen in New Change. Then we spent a while playing in the gardens around St Paul's before heading over the Millenium Bridge to Bankside. Our destination was Borough Market and we stocked up on treats like great Parmesan, balsamic vinegar, salami, cheese and bread. Laden down with our wares, we walked through Hays Galleria and on to the riverside. Much fun running around and spotting the Books About Town benches. Orla started complaining of a sore tummy. We gave her some Calpol and Ed had to carry her for a bit, but we managed to get her over Tower Bridge. We stopped at the Tower of London to see the poppies installation. Very moving. We managed to get home without anyone falling asleep, so tonight was a much earlier night than last night.
