Porty People and Places

Between Portobello and Leith there is an excellent recycling facility. I took this blip for two reasons. 1 I liked the quality of light within the container. 2. I liked the way the contents speaks volumes about this part of town.

I read in The Times today that the 2016 Olympic Games Beach Volleyball heats will be coming to our very own Porty Beach on 19th to 21st September. Porty Beach really does get its 15 minutes of fame and it will also be a wonderful antidote to all that voting we have done on the 18th!
