Pigeon Antics

This has nothing to do with water. I'm not even sure it's a good photo but it is an amazing record of a strange event.

Last night we were watching TV (as you do) when an almighty bang shook the house. I thought something large had toppled over somewhere in the house but Igor had seen a pigeon fly into the sliding patio door. It didn't fall to the ground but flew back in the direction it came from, did a circle over the canal, readjusted his flight path, had another go and made it over the house.

When we got up this morning we noticed this perfect imprint of the pigeon on the glass. If you look carefully you can see his eye and beak and the feathers of his wing.

I bet he had to take some paracetamol before he went to bed last night!!
