Catalyst
Yesterday, Ro took our 12 year old grandson to the war museum near the Lowry while I looked after our baby granddaughter.
Today we went to visit another museum: Catalyst which is in Widnes. This is a view from the top floor of Catalyst and shows, on the jutting out sand in the middle, where the new bridge across the Mersey is starting.
"Work started on the Mersey Gateway Project on 7 May 2014. In autumn 2017 a new six lane toll bridge over the Mersey between the towns of Runcorn and Widnes will open to relieve the congested and ageing Silver Jubilee bridge."
Finished the day having a meal in our local Toby with our son, his wife and our baby granddaughter who was so well behaved! (8 months old!)
