Textures in flowers........

Early this morning the sun was shining and the sky was blue, albeit a little chilly and autumnal. I had decided to take a picture of the sunflower, thankfully I took the image when I did as it has been cloudy all day and the sunflower would not have looked so effective against a grey sky!

I particularly like the different textures of the sunflower, the soft yellow petals and velvety centre.
