Birmingham Color Run

Today was so much fun!

Got to do this fun activity with Jasmine and Alaina at Birmingham NEC. We got a good amount of color powder at the end of the event. As we had a lot of stopover along the route, it took us more than an hour to finish the run (aside from stopping for selfies/official photos, there was also a long queue at the blue station!). We were rewarded with a very nice meal at this Chinese Restaurant in Birmingham City Centre. I ordered Schezuan Pig Stomach and they kept on reminding me that those are pig innards (even the cashier reminded me about it again). And of course, as someone who adores everything about pig and chicken (like all parts of them!) i was surprised about why they were so concerned. Pig and Chicken innards are just so common in a Filipino dinner table (or streets) that we (or I) dont even flinch about eating it.

The entire activity drained my energy a lot and i slept as early as 530pm as soon as i got back to my flat at Leam. And another stupid thing happened. As i was leaving the train onto the platform, I noticed that my keys were not in my bag. I panicked and thought that i lost it somewhere at Birmingham. I was so concerned about my bike as I may have to leave it at the train station since i cant open the lock given my keys were lost. When i went to the bicycle parking area at the other platform, lo and behold, my keys were there. Safe and sound on the lock of my bike. Whew!!!!!!
