Holiday - day 7

Went into newton abbot first thing, had a mooch around the town, then over to Dartington, some gorgeous shops to wander round, many of which I know my lovely mum would have most certainly enjoyed (and possibly spent lots of pennies in!!)

For lunch we then navigated our way over to Dartmouth, a beautiful little harbour town set on a hill. This was looking out over the river Dart to Kingswear. We sat in a cafe by the river and enjoyed watching the people and boats coming & going.

A wander through the town to explore after lunch then back to the car.

We followed to coastal road along past Blackpool Sands, which lit up in the sunshine, a simply gorgeous bay!

While parked up at Slapton sands further along the road, I decided to see if I could see a doctor about my sore throat, it's been hanging around since Monday & nothing I've tried has eased it!

Ended up seeing the out of hours GP at the local hospital, thankfully not tonsilitis as I'd started to think, just told to take ibroprophen & co-codamol.. Happy days! Meh!
