Romanesco cauliflower.

Hurray.... today I am the proud producer of some of this unusual looking vegetable. It originates from Italy and is known as either the Romanesco cauliflower or Romanesco broccoli. Either way it looks amazing with the distinct spiral shape and yellowish green colour. When I planted them I wasn't sure what they were so they were a bit of a surprise.I have grown them before and look forward to them with dinner tonight. Not only do they look great,they are good for you,being high in vitamin C and vitamin K.
