deep in the woods.

Today myself and two friends who are visiting had a rather arduous day as we climbed the nearby 756 metre high Mount Karioi. It was wonderful to get to the summit as it has been on my bucket list for a wee while.It is a very steep climb ,including some sections where a ladder is provided to get up a cliff face ,and other parts where there is a chain to give the climbers something to hold on to.Most of the climb is in wooded areas and the colder ,damper parts have these moss covered trees as shown.
