Waiting at Dartford bridge

Today I took mum home, which seemed to take up most of the day.

We left late morning and arrived at hers just too late for her 'foot lady' appointment at 1:30- but after a quick phone call, she was happy to call back after another appointment - phew.

We also had an anxious moment when the cat's food was all still there from the morning and no cat came when she was called for. The neighbours were alerted and went into street combing. The miscreant cat just walked in a couple of hours later!

The traffic was foul on the way way back - hitting the rush hour around Dartford crossing was a pain :-( and it started raining.
I suddenly felt inspired to try this shot from my car window as I was waiting to pay the toll.

Home - supper wine - now bed - ah that's better!
