It's working!

After a few days of construction, we were ready to install software. Unfortunately the computer didn't see the monitor so we couldn't see anything. Something was wrong...

A phone call to Maplin, where we bought the components, resulted in a cheery "bring it in, we'll get it working" - and they did! Jordan, who fixed it for us, wasn't sure exactly what was wrong or how he fixed it, but it was working and that was all that mattered.

Back home, ready to install drivers for the graphics card, the computer wouldn't play again. This time it was a Windows problem. It was connecting to the internet, letting us browse websites, but not allowing us to download anything. Fortunately I have a wee bit more patience than my son, and found a refresh option that sorted it.
