Ebb and Flow

Today has been a bit of a hard one. It would be my Dad's birthday tomorrow- a day that's always very difficult, and it's really hit me hard today. I've had as quiet a day as possible; luckily working from home, and have spent the evening with a film and book under a blanket. Throughout the day, I've been reading the reports about the increasingly active volcano in Iceland with worry...hopefully it will prove to be a false alarm, or not as serious as it could be, with two weeks to go to our trip.
