Dovercourt Bay

We drove to Harwich this morning which was rather a last minute plan but my sister has made it there and my cousin was over from Spain. With lots of family already there, it's going to be a serious family weekend!

Little Dog is staying at mum and dad's for the weekend and has her first overnight there tonight. Hoping she behaves!

These lighthouses are old and famous and bring back very fond memories of summer beach hut days in Dovercourt Bay, crabbing off the stone walls with my cousins.

After meeting Rachel, we had a walk near Hi-de-Hi! country, Irlams, before visiting Auntie Peg for a cup of tea.

Fish and chips, a drink next door at The Cliff and a good old chat finished off a fine day. Rachel had brought her new old guitar so we messed around on that before going to bed too late. Worth it!
