Another thing to ponder...

Dear Diary,

This little bug seemed poised to make the big leap but he just sat there for the longest time regarding his little world. Antennae switching back and forth but never moving. Was he afraid of the dark space at his feet?

I watched this little front yard drama for a few minutes and then, all of a sudden, he sprung off the petal and hurled himself into space. Where he actually landed I couldn't see but I thought, what courage. How often we find ourselves on the brink and are afraid to make that leap of faith...that jump into the unknown. So much easier to stay where we are, where we know it is safe.

Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith.
