My Time Abroad

Snow Planet

The school's accommodation program organized a trip to Snow Planet, an indoor ski/snowboard park and it was the coolest place ever. 10 dollars got you boots and a board so I decided to try snowboarding since I never have before. It was pretty difficult at first, mainly standing up and stopping were the hardest parts. I had two pretty bad collisions and I've got some sweet bruises to show for it. Ended up getting the hang of it eventually, but wasn't able to do the full slope that you see behind me in the picture, just the smaller one. My roommate did it though and he filmed it on my GoPro, pretty awesome.

The place also had a nice bar/restaurant area so after chillin' for a bit some of us went tubing which turned out to be a lot funner than snowboarding mainly because it was much easier. The coach bus that was supposed to drive us home forgot about us so we all squeezed on one of the city buses haha.

It was really fun and it was pretty hysterical how sore I ended up being the next day.

I wore my good ole BJ's flannel, which is not water proof, resulting in me ending up pretty cold after falling a few times.
