Yurt

Found mesen back in the yurt again for the second day running. A very good line-up (and a sellout crowd) at Funny For A Grrrl. And this after a terrific hour with Stewart Lee at one of his work-in-progress shows.

Over to the book festival next (via tram no less, and I've got to say that the stop marked 'West End-Princes St' wasn't exactly where I'd expect it to be, but ho hum...) for a quite excellent Luke Wright event. A cracking poet and a cracking performer. Really, really good.

A bit more Luke later at Unbound, a fun event titled 'Page Match' involving literary wrestling and battles that made a whole lot more sense in person than it sounds in print.

A great day out. Big thanks to leasko for the babysitting! I can see tomorrow being a bit more of a quiet one...
