Yonder

One half of the family went to what was, by all accounts, an excellent bit of theatre, whilst the other half listened to Hull City on the radio and then went swimming.

And, I did intend to go down to the book festival tonight to get a cultural fix of something for the day but unfortunately I was a little bit involved with pain relief for some ongoing toothache - great, another trip to the dentist's in the morning beckons. So we all sat down and watched a particular episode of Yonderland ("the one that we think Dad will like") which featured a fabulous skit of a certain electronic  pop group. And I then had to show the girls some youtube clips of said electronic pop group so they fully realised what a great skit it was. Education complete, it was off to bed. First time in seven weeks that these words have been said in this house - school night!
