Akureyri

Shame, the weather was horrible, windy, rainy and cold. I also had the strangest garbage experience ever. I wanted to throw away some take-away containers into some bins I saw outside our building where we are staying. As I was opening the container some guy started shouting at me that these ones were only for the business around here and that it was a big problem that everybody wanted to throw their garbage in their bin. Wow I felt like a garbage criminal! Fortunately I found the locked place we are supposed to use, it's a locked storage room...
Otherwise we had a great day, we went to the folk museum where this big guy stands guard and to the swimming pool. Oops I nearly forgot the Christmas shop which has expanded and now has a huge new store where the parking place was before. The new store sells very expensive delicatessens.
