Moorland Heather

I set of this morning with the idea of a blip of the heather which is just about at its best right now. Other pics of my fellow runners and a couple of mountain bikers were better images, but this captures the time of year on Winter Hill. A good run of 11 miles and the twisted ankle stood up to it well, only protesting on the more severe downhills which were taken gently with my companions happy to wait at the bottom for me. An ice pack now and a gentle run tomorrow on the local terrain without too many hills - hope your weekend is going well : )
