Birthday treat

6yo will become 7yo on Wednesday and today he had his birthday treat.

This morning 12 of us took the train to Edinburgh and went to see a Fringe production for children in St Andrew's Square. Brave Macbeth was great fun which was appreciated by all of us (75yo to 3yo) A highlight for us was when Banquo, being pursued by a murderer, handed his sword to our 9yo saying "Help me!". 9yo duly chased the murderer round the hall with great enthusiasm. Later he regretted that had not been able to have a sword fight with the murderer!

Later we had tea and birthday cake - another masterpiece by mummy.
