At the Bird Fair

Clare and I had a good day today at the annual Bird Fair at Rutland Water - the highlight of the British birding year.

We saw plenty of celebrities including Bill Oddie, Chris Packham, Simon King, Johnny Kingdom and Sir John Lister-Kaye.

I bought a few (more) books but resisted the lure of some gorgeous new Zeiss optics, so I reckon that leaves me £1,000 to the good :-)
