Relief

The hotel I am staying in here in Muscat has seen better days. In some places the wall and the wallpaper are in the process of divorce. And the furniture is can take on a health and safety function by covering broken tiles.

Access to the internet is really only available at reception. So, from to time, guests gather to prod at their devices. The staff say they are working on getting access throughout the hotel though are unwilling to give a timescale.

It has meant a temporary limitation on my blip commenting.

For all that, I quite like it here. And it does have a pool.
