Another day at a festival

Spent most of the day at Charlotte Square at one of Edinburgh's festivals - the book festival.

Went to entertaining session from cricket commentator Jonathan Agnew (and his dog); a moving tribute from a group of Scottish writers to a champion of Scottish literature (Dr Gavin Wallace) and a warm presentation from writer Jackie Kay and her son, Matthew who has just finished a documentary based on a trip of a university football team to Palestine.

An in-between there was some wine, the bookshop, some wine, coffee ...

And sitting in a deck chair enjoying the sun and the crowds. With older and newer technology. I tried to imagine that the man on the left was writing something which was being read by the woman on the right!
