Rub-A-Dub Dub

After my complaints on Wednesday that His Lordship seemed more than happy to leave the domestic chores to me while he gadded about on the hills, complaints which he maintains are ill founded and very hurtful, he bought me a new washing machine this morning from one of the Grassmarket stalls.

He tells me there are several programmes depending on how hard I rub.
It doesn't unfortunately come with a tumble dry option, but on the other hand it could be hired out on an hourly basis to the local skiffle group.
