Hamburg.txt - Day 1

Left Munich around 5.45am. It was quiet.

13 hours and 174 km later we reached the campsite in Dinkelsbühl.

In between these two events we did numerous hills and got severely rained on on more than one occasion. We got help from a local man who stopped us taking a long and awful, but beautiful route through a forest. We had to manoeuvre our bikes up and down a massive lock in the river - that was not fun.

We had lunch in Nordendorf, coffee in Nördlingen and snack dinner at the campsite.

Currently we are in our tent nursing our knees. I am so happy I managed to pack my memory foam travel pillow!
