New Vacuum

Woke up and the cleaning people had already cleaned. Since I slept through it I guess my room will be dirty for another week. Oh well.

Went to a sushi place for brunch with Mom. I got filet mignon hibachi but it wasn't as good as the one from Mt. Fuji.

Drove to Target after to buy a new vacuum cleaner (hence the title). We bought other things while there but we just went for a vacuum. There was a pricing discrepancy at checkout where my mom thought it was cheaper than it scanned at. I went to check and she was wrong, but, in all fairness, the sticker was right above the one we picked out so it wasn't easy to tell.

When we got home I helped empty the car. When taking out the vacuum (which was surprisingly light), I noticed the writing on the side (pictured) and jokingly told my mom that we weren't allowed to own this vacuum because we were short one dog. She laughed and said that Willy (our rabbit) counts as a dog.

Helped Mom carry a wooden pallet into the Dog Run. Okay, let me explain. My mom runs a business, from home, selling art and accessories. The accesories are shipped on these wooden pallets which we temporarily store in our garage. My landscaper takes the pallets once a year and does who-knows-what with them, so we put them in an area at the side of our house so they don't take up space in our garage until then. The area at the side of our house is called the Dog Run because that's where we used to put our old dog, Lady, when she was misbehaving.

Went into my room and watched House M.D. and browsed the Internet. Benefits of having a duel screen computer.

Somewhere in between I made myself an over-easy egg in bread as a snack. It cooked beautifully and tasted really good, but from now on I should toast the bread before putting it on the pan so it doesn't get soggy from the butter.

Took a shower before Crossfit because I hadn't showered yet.

Went to Crossfit with Mom. Last day of training!

Went to Red Mango afterwards but it was packed so we went to Maui Wowi but it was closed so we went to Yogurt City, a frozen yogurt place like Red Mango.

Went home and watched House M.D. on the couch while eating my frozen yogurt.

Went into my room and watched House M.D.

Came out and watched Shark Tank with Mom.

Going to bed now.

Today's Random Thoughts:

There have been several different studies about how sugar doesn't make kids hyper yet some parents reject this conclusion based on anecdotal evidence.

Don't you understand part of the reason this myth exists is because parents see their children on sugar and rate them as more hyper.

You are part of the problem.

And that's why I think parents are stubborn.
