Under wraps

Was just leaving one car park when I noticed this sculpture outside the one opposite and thought "that's my blip"
It had chemical formulae on the plinth but I don't know anything about it. I would look it up but don't have time as I was getting my cross-stitch finished (would have been a lot quicker if my counting had been better, my excuse is the fabric made it hard to see the holes)
