The Vikings cometh!

For the last two days, this beauty has been harbored in Stromness. Me & PDubberz went and had a closer look today. And as I type this I am watching her leave Orkney as she sails out through Scapa Flow on her way to Shetland.

We took many photos...meanwhile the Vikings were in the Co-Op raiding it for all it's stock and alcohol. Thankfully when we got to the shop, the manager had kept some Henry Westons cider hidden in the cellar for me. Phew!

The longship is now a tiny speck on the horizon and I am savouring my cider.
