Links to the past.....

......interesting day at work, with our MD who is quite expert in our line of business, shunted sideways and another lad from Bristol parachuted in. Some senior bosses are waved goodbye with glee, but our chap was alright and was respected for his knowledge and humility. Shame really.

Popped down to darkest Leith after work to collect medals for our sporting heroes and print-off some letters for our next winter camp in the Caingroms in a few weeks.

Our chums across the road, Standard Life, released an interesting study this week about nostalgia. It would seem linking back to past times improves mood, increases self-esteem, strengthens social bonds and imbues life with meaning......aha....the meaning of life at long last....it's Nostalgia.......or have I got the wrong end of the stick again?
