Poet's Birthday Sunrise

Off to work early this morning after wishing a happy birthday to my dear love/poet/wife; the light of my life. What better way to mark it than with this photo of sunrise over the Hauraki Gulf. The northern end of Rangitoto sloping down darkly, and the paler Motutapu (Sacred Island) behind.

Tonight tsuken arrives just before midnight from Sydney for a few days.
