32484 and counting

Today one of our colleagues became a father for the first time. A son: all doing well. We are all delighted.

Tomorrow my elderly relative in the blip will celebrate 32485 days: ie 89. She has been blind with macular degeneration for several years now but lives at home on her own with support from carers, neighbours and a weekly visit from me.

Normally she has a knack of looking straight at you when you are talking. So much so that some people think she is still sighted. Because I was being more quiet when taking the pictures her head moved away to one side.

I'd popped in tonight after work as I'm out and about tomorrow and won't be able to call in to see her on her birthday itself.
