Balance

This beautiful bouquet arrived yesterday from my colleagues in Istanbul via Interflora - so lovely and worthy of remembrance. After 24 hours the roses and lilies are opening and the scent fills the lounge. Heavenly.

A very quiet day marred by hurting my back @ 4am when, not able to sleep, I got up and made a cup of tea. Something about the way that I bent over to set the tea tray down on the bedside cabinet caused something in my lower spine to click very alarmingly. The subsequent pain somehow gives solace - as now I hurt on the outside as well. There is balance.

The children were with me this afternoon and Maddy stayed for a sleep over with her Auntie when Gareth took the boys.
