Lazy Start Then Vannes

I remember getting up around 0715 to stumble across to the toilets, I thought to myself "nobody else is up I'll grab another hour, next thing I knew it was 1126, I only just beat Samantha up!!
Two cups of coffee, a croissant and a shower later I was ready. In glorious sunshine we headed off to Vanned, a forty-five minute journey brought us to this medieval walled city. We parked easily enough down by the port and then set off to explore. The now obligatory coffee started the days activities, I found the city fascinating. A mixture of Roman., Norman, and Plantanagent fortifications that underwent significant alterations during the revolution it now as that quaint fairy castle feel to it.
A trip on the road train with an English audio tour allowed is to see the parts we couldn't cover by walking.
A 'Fruits de la Mere' platter with a large beer brought our last full day in Brittany to a fitting close.
