Newark Bay

Newark Bay, Caribean...Orkney. With the fablious PW.

Today was a beach day. Unfortunately 2 or 3 other people in Orkney also thought so. We first visited Dingieshowe, beautiful little bay of sand and turquoise water. We gave the dogs a good run and explore at the opposite end to a family who looked settled for a whole day on the beach.

Next to Newark Bay. Really white sand and extra turquoise sea. This beach was a bit longer so the dogs enjoyed a good frolic (and Talisker a good swim) before we stumbled across a small group set up on the beach for the day. We walked up to Point of Ayer and Talisker stared in wonderment at the 3 wind turbines.

I was itching to go for a swim but that will have to wait for another day.
